We are now able to gather again to celebrate Mass as a community, providing we adhere to government and church guidelines on social distancing, cleaning and numbers in attendance. Saint Philip Neri church has been prepared for public celebration of Mass and approved by the diocese for worship. At the moment the number of people able to attend each Mass is limited to 40 parishioners. The number of Masses, and the safe capacity of the church, will be reviewed regularly in line with guidance received, volunteers available to steward and clean, experience so far, and demand for places. In order to ensure that guidelines are kept to, and to facilitate as many people accessing Mass as possible, we are running a ticketing system. Please reserve your place at Mass using the RSVP function above. If you are booking for your household please reserve the number of spaces you require to seat your whole household (e.g. mum, dad and children all require a space, so set the RSVP to the appropriate number). Please do not book multiple people under the same name.
Doors will open fifteen minutes before the Mass begins and entry and exit from the church will be stewarded. The Mass will start on time, and after it has begun there will be no admittance to the church.
There will be strictly no entry without reservation.
Please do not reserve more than one Mass a week to begin with, so as many people as possible can quickly return to the Sacraments.
If you know someone who would like to attend Mass but does not have internet access please book a ticket for them.
